premii Ad Astra

Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA. Scopul acestei baze de date este aceea de a stimula colaborarea dintre cercetatorii romani de peste hotare dar si cu cercetatorii din Romania. Cercetatorii care doresc sa fie nominalizati in aceasta baza de date sunt rugati sa trimita un email la cristian.presura@gmail.com

El Naschies instanton by means of the Schwarzschilds gravitational field

Abstract The parabolic motion of a test particle in the Schwarzschilds gravitational field is assimilated to a field theory with spontaneous symmetry breaking. Then, the space–time of general relativity is substituted with the e1 space–time by generating an instanton (El Naschies instanton) which tunnelates the Dirac vacuum states.

Determining Aerosol Radiative Properties Using the Integrating Nephelometer

The atmospheric aerosol particles have variable optical properties, depending on their composition and their size distribution. The aim of this paper is to use six measured parameters with a Nephelometer, to derive optical properties of sub-micrometric and micrometric particles. The analysis of the backscatter to total scattering ratio and the wavelength dependence of particle scattering showed a daily and monthly variability, the ratio being bigger

Temporal Variation of Aerosol Optical Properties at Magurele, Romania

Even though much research has been conducted regarding the study of atmospheric aerosols, significant uncertainties still exist in this direction. The uncertainties are related to different physical and microphysical properties of these fine particles, but they are also related to the complex processes of interactions between aerosols and other atmospheric components, such as water droplets in the clouds or gaseous molecules. Therefore, it is mandatory
