premii Ad Astra

Asociația Ad Astra a anunțat câștigătorii Premiilor Ad Astra 2022: http://premii.ad-astra.ro/. Proiectul și-a propus identificarea și popularizarea modelelor de succes, a rezultatelor excepționale ale cercetătorilor români din țară și din afara ei.

Asociatia Ad Astra a cercetatorilor romani lanseaza BAZA DE DATE A CERCETATORILOR ROMANI DIN DIASPORA.

Constant Sum Integer Programming Model with Non-uniform defined variable
Towards web applications reliability engineering. In Krzysztof Kolowrocki & Enrico Zio (ed.)

There is an increasing request for web-based software systems, some of them to be used very intensive. The customers ask not only for fast design and implementation, but also for a high quality product. Considering reliability as an important quality attribute, this paper describes the current state of the art in designing, implementing, and testing web-based applications. An important attention is given to web-based software vulnerabilities and

Quality assurance for agile component-based software development. In H Pham, T Nakagawa (eds.)

Component-based software development facilitates software reuse and promotes quality and productivity. Combining agile approach with some component-based methodology improves the software quality. This paper describes the characteristics and benefits of using agile software development methodologies, mainly the adaptive software development approach mixed with COMO-DfT (the software reuse methodology for in-house software component design and development

Web Software Reliability Engineering

There is an increasing request for web software systems, some of them to be used very intensive. The customers ask not only for fast design and implementation, but also for a high quality product. Considering reliability as an important quality attribute, this paper describes the current state of the art in designing, implementing, and testing web software. An important attention is given to software vulnerabilities and how to deliver secure software.

On Designing Highly Secure Embedded Systems

This paper describes the most relevant aspects concerning the secure software design for embedded systems and asserts that the quality of the embedded systems can be increased using appropriate secure software techniques and a multi-step strategy based on prevention and vulnerability discovery, resistance to attacks, security holes removing, and behavior prediction along the system life-cycle.

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Methods in Optimal Software Reliability Allocation. In I. A. Ryabinin, E. D. Solojentsev (eds.)

In this paper the optimal software reliability allocation problem is studied when complex architectures are used and various constraints applied. Firstly, the basic reliability model in the case of component-based development methodology and the classical optimization approach are described. In the next sections the intuitionistic fuzzy numbers and the intuitionistic fuzzy optimization are considered. New formulas and interpretations will be given

Intuitionistic Fuzzy Approaches for Quality Evaluation of Learning Objects. In H. Pham (ed.)

Quality evaluation of learning objects asks for subjective approaches in a multi-criteria framework. This paper describes the usage of intuitionistic fuzzy sets for modelling the degree of acceptance/rejection of learning objects according to a set of criteria and proposes some methods for the best learning object identification. Experimental results are reported for items belonging to the computer science field evaluated both by students and teaching

Recent soft computing methods in software reliability engineering. In Kolowrocki K., Soszynska-Budny J. (eds.)

This paper presents recent approaches in soft computing to manage imprecision and uncertainty in software reliability engineering. Firstly, recent approaches like imprecise probabilities, generalized intervals, fuzzy sets and intuitionistic-fuzzy sets are shortly described, and the usage of intuitionistic fuzzy numbers for system reliability computation is shown. Intuitionistic-fuzzy approaches for software reliability growth models are proposed
